Round three ended with Brian Harman in the lead, but there are a few other contenders worth watching during the final round of the John Deere Classic.

The Head Pro at Deere Run, Andy Stoterau said Harman has never been in the lead and is someone to keep an eye on. He is paired with three-time JDC champion Steve Stricker. Stoterau describes Stricker’s game as subtle, as he closely follows in second place.

Stoterau said the 2012 and 2013 champions, Zach Johnson and Jordan Spieth are contenders. Spieth hangs in there tied for 14th but the pro said he could make a big run if he hits a lot of birdies.

One to keep your eye on is Wisconsin-native Jerry Kelly. Kelly is tied for fourth place along with Zach Johnson and two others heading into the fourth round.
