Helping out at the John Deere Classic for the first time was Donna Rucker.
She spent the week at Deere Run handing out flyers and helping people find their way around the course.
Donna said she has always loved golf and although she had a little bit of a rough first day, as the week has gone on she’s gotten into the swing of things.
“[We] have the Birdies for Charity to help the community, that’s very important for us, a pairing guide that has the tee times for all the players, and it’s just exciting,” Donna said. “It’s fun to help, that’s what it really is.”
