Defending champion Jordan Spieth stood tied for 14th place at the end of round three of the John Deere Classic.

The 20-year-old was off to a good start when he hit a birdie on hole two. On hole eight, he birdied again, leading his round to end at 4-under par. At the end of three rounds he was just six shots off the pace at 11-under par total.

The leader after round three was Brian Harman, with 6-under par for the round, 17-under total.
