He was one of three co-leaders at the end of round 1, and Cedar Rapids native Zach Johnson stayed in the lead through the second round of play at the John Deere Classic.
Johnson had one of six birdies on the day Friday, including a pretty 16-footer on 14. He totaled 15 birdies through 36 holes of golf at Deere Run.
Friday’s 67 was Johnson’s 22nd straight round in the 60s at the John Deere Classic.
Johnson heads into the weekend as co-leader at 12-under par.
