There were plenty of spectators and media following three-time JDC champ Steve Stricker as he headed into the second day of tournament play.
On the Par 3 seventh hole, the Illini grad landed shot from the tee to about four feet from the cup, making it obvious this man knows Deere Run like the back of his hand. The tap-in birdie took him to 4 under for the day.
On 8, his shot from the fairway bunker wasn't quite as spectacular as three years ago, but just as effective, as Stricker stuck it within just five feet of the stick.
The last of his seven birdies on the day took Stricker to 9 under par, and just three strokes off the lead.
