In a field of 155 golfers, three-time winner Steve Stricker has returned in attempt to prevent a repeat by defending champ Jordan Spieth.

Stricker, ranked #19 in the world, won the John Deere Classic in 2009, 2010, and 2011. He returned to Deere Run Wednesday, July 9, 2014 for Pro-Am Day ahead of the tournament. He was playing with Max Guinn, Norwood Jewell, Gary Jones, and Ron McInroy.

McInroy is the director of UAW Region 4. He joined the UAW in 1979 when he was hired at John Deere & Company in Waterloo, Iowa, as a member of UAW Local 838.

Guinn is Senior Vice President for several departments at Deere & Company. He joined the company in 1980. Jones is an engineering supervisor at John Deere.

Jewell is the director of UAW Region 1C and has been since 2010.

In rounds one and two of the tournament starting Thursday, Stricker will tee off with Spieth and Stewart Cink.
