At least three victims appeared at a hospital in Davenport after a shooting in an alley on the city's west side.
Police were called to the hospital around 1:15 p.m. Initial information indicated three gunshot victims had arrived there. Initial reports of a possible fourth victim were later unfounded.
The victims were allegedly shot in an alley near West 14th and N. Gaines. The suspect was reportedly last seen near a home in the 800 block of West 14th. The shooting may have followed a confrontation between the victims and someone in a green Ford Escort.
Police later said they found people they think were involved in the shooting at a home at 11th and Brown.
The severity of the victims' injuries was initially unclear. Police later said the three victims suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
