It is less than four months until November 4th, 2014 when voters across the country and the state of Illinois will head to the polls.

Ahead of the General Election, Illinois' Lieutenant Governor and Democratic Candidate for State Comptroller stopped by WQAD to talk with News 8's Angie Sharp.

They talked about a range of topics - from legislation impacting families on the Rock Island Arsenal and why she is leaving Governor Pat Quinn's side to run for a new position... to her blue grass band, Loose Gravel.
