A three-year-old boy’s call to 911 helped police capture a man who allegedly attacked her.

Police said Denis Reyes-Morales, 30, attacked a woman in front of the child in a Storm Lake, Iowa apartment Tuesday, July 1, 2014 according to KTIV.

The little boy called 911 and a dispatcher sent officers to investigate the open phone line from the call.

When officers arrived, Reyes-Morales had allegedly escaped by jumping from a second-story window.  He was spotted and arrested nearby about an hour later.

Court records show Reyes-Morales was charged with third-degree sexual abuse, assault with intent to commit sexual abuse and first-degree burglary.   A hold was also reportedly placed on him by the U.S. Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Reyes-Morales was held in the Buena Vista County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash-only bond.
