City officials say they need volunteers to help with sandbagging efforts in Moline, Illinois.

Major flooding was predicted on all rivers in the Quad Cities area, including the Mississippi.

River Drive was closed Monday, June 30, 2014 in Moline and in Davenport because of flooding that made the road impassible.

Volunteers can help public works employees with sandbagging in Moline, any time between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.  To volunteer, just show up at the Moline Public Works facility at 3635 Fourth Avenue.
