Congressman Loebsack Meets With Veterans in Muscatine

U.S. Congressman Dave Loebsack, (D) Iowa, was in Muscatine, Iowa on Saturday, June 28th, 2014 as part of his "Serving Those Who Served" tour.

Representative Loebsack met with veterans and their families at the Muscatine County Administration Building at 11:30 a.m. The tour is meant for any veterans having trouble with the Veterans Administration or other federal agencies.

“As Iowans come together to celebrate the birth of our nation, we must take time to remember those men and women who fought for the freedoms we treasure,” Loebsack said. “As a military parent and member of the House Armed Services Committee, I take great pride in Serving Those Who Served... I look forward to meeting with veterans and their families to discuss issues important to them and provide any assistance my office can help with.”

More forums will be held in cities including Burlington, Iowa City, Davenport, and Clinton.

The forum in Davenport is Thursday, July 3rd, 2014 at 10am at American Legion Post 26, 702 West 35th Street.
