Modern Woodmen of America is helping fight hunger in the Quad Cities. They will be collecting non-perishable food items at Modern Woodmen Ballpark on Thursday, June 19, 2014. The business is collecting money for the Knock Out Hunger Campaign.

Workers are asking that you bring in non-perishable food items to the ballpark. Modern Woodmen of America will start collecting donations at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. If you do that, you get a free ticket to Thursday's Quad Cities River Bandit's game, which starts at 7:05 p.m. There is a limit of six tickets per every person that donates.

The River Bend Foodbank in West Davenport is looking to help out more families in the Quad City area. The food bank serves about 10,000  people every single week.

You can either get your ticket to Thursday's game by going to Modern Woodmen Ballpark or you can go to Modern Woodmen of America in downtown Rock Island. The business is located at 1701 1st Avenue.
