MidAmerican Energy’s outage map showed that more than 2,000 people were without power in the Illinois Quad Cities Wednesday night.

Shortly before 9:50 p.m. the outage map showed that 1,868 customers in Moline were without power and 309 customers in Rock Island were without Wednesday, June 18, 2014.

A spokesperson from MidAmerican Energy said at 10:51 p.m. all power was restored to those Moline and Rock Island customers. The cause was a tree limb that had fallen on a power line.

Customers within the 800 block of 16th Avenue, the 300 block of 29th Avenue, the 1800 block of 12th Street, and the 3900 block of 25th Avenue Court were impacted, according to a spokesperson from MidAmerican.
