A 64-year-old woman died the day after she was struck by a pickup truck according to Davenport Police.
Karol Heston was crossing Brady Street, from east to west, when she was struck by a Ford pickup truck just before 4:30 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2014, police said.
Heston was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, and later transferred to a hospital in Iowa City.
Police said Heston died at the University of Iowa Hospitals Tuesday, June 17.
An online obituary for Mrs. Heston said visitation was planned for Thursday, June 19 and funeral services were set for Friday, June 20.
