Hundreds of residents in Silvis and East Moline can expect to be without water for up to three hours Monday morning.
About 670 customers of Silvis Heights Water will have their water shut off for one to three hours starting at 8 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2014, according to the superintendent of water, Randy Parker.
Water will be shut off as crews move fire hydrants along Hospital Road as part of a construction project.
Parker said customers who live south of Crosstown Avenue in Silvis and south of 30th Avenue in East Moline will be affected. A boil order has also been issued for these customers.
Customers south of the line depicted in the map below are included in the boil order.
