Happy Friday! The forecast couldn’t be anymore perfect as we start the weekend. Widespread sunshine will take place today as high pressure slides across the upper Midwest. A northwest wind will help to keep temperatures seasonally cool and comfortable with highs reaching the mid to upper 70s this afternoon. Skies remain mostly clear tonight and our overnight lows drop to the low 50s.

Our pattern of tranquil weather will continue through Saturday. Our wind will switch to the south and temperatures will become more seasonal as they climb to the low 80s. Clouds slowly increase Saturday night and temperatures only fall to the low 60s.

Father’s Day isn’t looking as quiet. Showers and storms are likely on Sunday, especially in the early afternoon hours. Temperatures will still manage to reach around 80 degrees. Plan any celebrations or cook-outs accordingly.

Next week looks pretty active with several chance of showers and thunderstorms and temperatures in the mid 80s.
