Pack an umbrella today just in case. Chances for showers and storms are low but the chance is there nonetheless. Skies will be partly cloudy today with highs reaching the upper 70s. A cold front will come through around midday bringing with it a chance for isolated showers and possibly a thunderstorm. This front won’t have a lot of moisture to work with so rainfall amounts will be limited. Skies gradually clear overnight and lows fall to the low 50s.
A beautiful day is in store for Friday. High pressure will slide across the upper Midwest providing sunny skies and seasonally cool temperatures in the upper 70s. Sunshine will stick around through Saturday with highs climbing into the low 80s.
Father’s Day looks a little more active. Showers and storms look likely, especially early in the day. Despite the chance of rain, high temperatures should remain in the low 80s.
