3,500 hot rods are in the Quad Cities on Thursday, June 12, 2014 for the Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour.
Organizers had some of the cars out around 9 a.m. Thursday getting them ready for the show. The Quad Cities is stop six on the seven-day tour across the country. Drivers left from Crown Point, Indiana around 8 a.m. Thursday for the Quad Cities. All of the cars should be in around noon or shortly after.
There is only a limited time to see the hot rods. They will be at the Isle of Capri Casino and Hotel in Bettendorf from noon until 7 p.m. Thursday. The cars will be leaving the Quad City area around 8:30 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2014. There is no cost to Thursday's event.
