You may not have to look any further than Davenport, Iowa if you’re in the market for a hot car.

Davenport is one of 86 locations where dealers are being authorized to sell the 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C, as part of the Italian car brand’s return to the North American automobile market.

“Each Alfa Romeo dealer will have a unique staff dedicated to the brand’s premium market clientele. We require each Alfa Romeo dealer to have their sales and technical staff go through an intensive curriculum to ensure the highest levels of customer care and proficiency of the Alfa Romeo 4C,” said Peter Grady, Vice President of Network Development for Chrysler Group LLC.

They plan to sell about 1,000 4C models in the first year.  More models will follow.

D&D Fiat, doing business as D&D Alfa Romeo, will be authorized to sell the Alfa Romeos in Davenport.  The only other Iowa dealer to sell Alfa Romeo will be in Clive; and Illinois dealers will be in Chicago, Fairview Heights and Tinley Park.

The authorized dealers include 82 locations in 33 states plus four more in Canada.

The company anticipates more than 300 dealers will eventually be authorized to sell Alfas in North America.

Alfa Romeos were last sold in the U.S. in the mid-1990s.
