A benefit was held to fund a family’s trip to Colorado so they can get treatment for their son who has Dravet Syndrome.
Eight-year-old Ryan suffers from frequent seizures and his mother is planning a roadtrip to Colorado so Ryan can stay for a couple months to receive cannabis oil treatment.
“I know a lot of families in Colorado,” said Ryan’s mother Tina. “We just went up there last week and we met with them and they're using the cannabis oil and it's working really good for their kids.”
The benefit was held Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Circle Tap in Davenport. There were games, a bags tournament, raffles, food, music, and more. Their goal was to raise $5,000.
