THE National Bank will undergo a name change to become Triumph Community Bank, N.A.

The announcement of the name change was made on Friday, June 6, 2014- but the name change does not take effect until Monday, June 30.

Updates to some ATMs in the Quad Cities have already been made to reflect the new name. More updates to signs, forms, and communication materials will be made throughout the summer. Products and services will remain the same, according to a company spokesperson.

John DeDoncker, president and CEO of THE National Bank, said customers” do not need to do anything as part of the name change.” He also noted that staff would stay the same.

“Although our name is changing, we are still the same community-focused bank that will continue to deliver top-notch service to our customers,” said DeDoncker. “The name Triumph Community Bank not only unites the bank with our parent company, Triumph Bancorp, but it also removes some of the confusion around the spelling and location of our company.”

DeDoncker also said the new name includes the word “community” which will reinforce to customers that friends, neighbors, and community “have always been at the core” of the business.

THE National Bank, member of the Triumph Bancorp, Inc. is described as a full-service community bank.
