A rainy Saturday put a damper on Blue Grass Days fireworks.
The Blue Grass Police Department said the fireworks scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2014 have been cancelled.
The display will not be rescheduled, according to Chief John Jenson with the department.
StormTrack 8 forecast isolated storms throughout the evening, possibly producing winds gusts up to 40 mph and small hail. The rain was expected to end around midnight.
