A man previously accused of stealing items that belonged to a homicide victim is now charged with murder.

Bobbie Little, 32, was arrested April 8, 2014 after police said he had a cell phone, televisions and other electronics that belonged to Shanna Beyhl. Beyhl’s body was found April 4 in her apartment, and police said she died of multiple stab wounds.

Police said they found Little’s fingerprints at the murder scene, as well as Beyhl’s DNA on Little’s clothing and shoes, according to KCRG-TV.

Little was previously held in the Linn County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bond for the second-degree theft charge.

Investigators confirmed Friday, June 6 that Little was charged with first-degree murder.
