Quad City runners got blasted with color during the Color the Quads 5k and Kids Color Dash.
Runners gathered in Bettendorf for the event Saturday, May 31, 2014. As people made their way through the course, they ran through different color stations.
A spokesperson for the event said that the 2013 run was sold out with 3,300 racers.
Money from the event benefitted the Child Abuse Council, the local chapter of March of Dimes- Mississippi Valley Division, and Rick’s House of Hope.
