Benefit held in honor of Natalie Munoz

A community gathered to remember a teenager that lost her life in a car crash.

On Sunday, June 1, 2014 a benefit was held at Leisure Time Billiards in East Moline in honor of 18-year-old Natalie Munoz.

Davenport Police said that Natalie died after being involved in a crash on River Drive Tuesday, March 25. Investigators say Munoz was driving towards downtown, Davenport when her vehicle swerved over the center line and collided with two oncoming cars.

Munoz had graduated early from Bettendorf High School on Monday, March 24 and planned to start attending classes at Scott Community College.

At the benefit, there were fifty-fifty drawings, a taco dinner, and much more all in Natalie’s honor. All the proceeds went to Natalie’s family.
