Police say two people were reportedly robbed at gunpoint in Rock Falls.

According to a spokesperson from the Rock Falls Police Department, at around 8:45 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014, a female told police that she and a friend were robbed at gunpoint by three black men in the 200 block of Dixon Avenue.

The female told police that the alleged robbers demanded their phones and money, according to the department. One of the men showed a handgun that may have been a revolver.

According to the department, the victims were not injured.

Police said the three men were last seen getting into a newer-model silver vehicle that possibly was a Toyota. The victims believe the car may have had a Michigan license plate.

The victims provided descriptions of the men:

One suspect was described as in his 20s, somewhere between 5-feet 8-inches and 6-feet tall, weighing more than 300 pounds, wearing a black t-shirt, grey cargo shorts, and red and black shoes.

Another was described as mid-to-late 20s, somewhere between 5-feet 7-inches and 6-feet tall, weighing about 160 pounds, with long dread locks, and wearing a white t-shirt. He was the one who showed the revolver, police say.

The last suspect was described as being in his early 20s, somewhere between 5-feet 3-inches and 5-feet 6-inches tall, weighing about 190 pounds, with short dread locks and blue Nike shoes.
