Nine days after a father and son were busted for selling cocaine out of Adriana's Pizzeria in Moline, the restaurant is open under new management.
The open sign is a bright red. In many colors, a handwritten sign in the window says "Under New Management. Open Friday 4 p.m."
However, inside Adriana's Pizzeria no one would comment about who the new management is or how they plan to run the pizza place.
"I can't wait to get a pizza," said Johney Harris, who lives around the corner from Adriana's.
What happened just nine days ago, still fresh on his mind.
"All of a sudden, there's like police everywhere," he said, "I was surprised, cause it was like, they make really great pizza and I didn't know they had extras."
"I was shocked, I was really surprised I didn't think anything like that went on in our nice little neighborhood up here," said Vicki Pearson who owns a business across the street.
"Their pizza was good," said Pearson.
Pearson says she is eager to learn more about the pizza spot's new management, now that the open sign is bright red once more.
"As long as they're good people and not drug dealers, of course."
