Drivers needed to help transport veterans to appointments

An area veterans program is in need of volunteers to help transport veterans to appointments.

The Quad Cities Disabled American Veterans Transportation Program is asking for drivers to help take veterans to their medical appointments at the VA Medical Center in Iowa City, Iowa.

If you are interested in driving the DAV Van to Iowa City, please choose days of the month that you are available and call Commander Tom Simmons at 563-324-6329 or call Adjutant Paul Janecek at 563-386-3533 or Service Officer George Nickolas at 563-391-1760.
