A bicyclist who reportedly failed to yield to traffic was hit by a car on Kimberly Road in Davenport.
Police said the bicycle was crossing the street near Famous Dave's in the 1100 block of Kimberly Road when it crashed into the front fender of a car just before 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014.
The bicyclist failed to yield to traffic, according to police on the scene.
The bicyclist was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
