At the 2014 John Deere Classic Steven Ihm and Patrick Rodgers will be returning to play with sponsor exemptions. Jordan Niebrugge also got a sponsor exemption for the 2014 JDC.

Ihm, a senior at Iowa State, was 24th in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (as of May 21). He has been named first team All-Big Ten for the second year in a row. Click here for more on Ihm.

Rodgers, a junior at Stanford was awarded the 2014 Ben Hogan Award as the nation’s finest golfer. He finished the 2013 JDC tied for 15th. He has the number one World Amateur Golf Ranking (as of May 21). Click here for more on Rodgers.

Jordan Niebrugge, a sophomore at Oklahoma State University was named an honorable mention Ping All-American as well as an honorable mention All-American by Golfweek. His World Amateur Golf Ranking is 13 (as of May 21). Click here for more on Niebrugge.

Jordan Spieth, the 2013 John Deere Classic champion had a sponsor exemption in 2012 and 2013. In 2012 Spieth finished tied for 58th.
