Local motorcyclists collect stuffed bears for Children’s Therapy Center

A group of motorcyclists took a ride to benefit the Children’s Therapy Center of the Quad Cities. The entry fee- one stuffed bear.

Blackhawk Chapter ABATE of Illinois held its annual Bears for Buddies Ride Sunday, May 18, 2014. They started at the Rock Island County Courthouse and rode to Illiniwek Park for a picnic.

At the end of the ride, the stuffed animals were presented to a representative from the Children’s Therapy Center. The toys are used to assist the therapy provided by the center.
