Iowa's 1st trip to the NCAA tournament in 8 years is starting to pay dividends on the recruiting trail. Fran McCaffery landed Mr. Basketball from the state of Tennessee on Monday. Andrew Fleming committed to the Hawkeyes via twitter, choosing Iowa over Florida, Ohio State, Vanderbilt, UNLV and others. The 6'5 guard led Ensworth High School in Nashville to their 3rd straight state title as a junior last season, and will transfer to Oak Hill Academy for his seanior year. Fleming joins Brandon Hutton as the 1st 2 Iowa commits of 2015.
