A Strongman Contest was held for some muscly Quad Citians to test their strength.
The contest was held in Bettendorf Saturday, May 10, 2014. Thirteen competitors faced different challenges including an ambulance pull, an overhead press medley, deadlifts, atlas stones, and more.
There were some amateur competitors working to earn an invitation to the 2014 Nationals, where they could qualify for a pro card.
Some of the events are the same as the ones performed on TV for the World’s Strongest Man.
