A Dixon teenager faces criminal charges in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a child.
Thomas Kanzler III, of Dixon, was arrested at about 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2014 at Dixon High School.
Court records showed Kanzler was charged with one count of felony criminal sexual assault and one count of misdemeanor criminal sexual abuse of a victim under the age of 5.
Kanzler was held in the Lee County jail in lieu of $250,000 bond. He made his first court appearance and remained in jail Monday, May 5.
