Crews will be working in Bettendorf to widen Utica Ridge Road.
Beginning Monday, May 5, 2014 the roadway will be reconstructed and widened to five lanes from Spruce Hills Drive to Tanglefoot Lane.
One lane will be open in each direction at all times to allow business access during the construction.
To start, crews will reconstruct the west side of Utica Ridge Road. There will be no access to Golden Valley Drive from the west. Next, crews will work on the east side of Utica Ridge Road, with no access to Golden Valley Drive from the east. The final stage of the project will be reconstruction of the middle of the roadway.
The project was expected to last until November 21.
