Moline hosted their annual Stateline Challenge Soccer Tournament on May 2-3. Moline would play for third place in their tournament against Niles West. The Maroons took a 2-0 led at the half, then added another goal in the second half off a penalty kick from Jamie Althiser. Moline keeper Rachel Holt would make sure that lead would stand, as she pitched the shutout.
Geneseo finished second in the tournament, losing to Mt. prospect 6-1 in the championship game.
