Davenport Police hope someone in the community can help identify two people they say are persons of interest in the stabbing of a local cab driver.
The driver was reportedly stabbed more than two dozen times in the head, shoulder and upper body after he picked up two riders at Locust and Bridge Avenue at about 11:30 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014.
Police said the cab driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Tuesday, April 29, police released photos of two people they want to talk with about the stabbing.
Anyone with information about the stabbing, or about the two persons of interest, is asked to call Davenport Police at (563) 888-3574 or submit anb anonymous tip via their mobile app called “CityConnect Davenport,IA” in reference to “Can You Identify? Subjects #18 and #19.”
