The Assumption girls track team had already made a name for themselves at the Drake Relays, but on day 3 of the event they would capture another white flag. Each winner at the Drake Relays received a white flag for their win, Assumption took home 4. The Lady Knights would win the Sprint Medley, 4 x 100, 4 x 200 and 4 x 800. Assumption would finish second in the 4 x 400.
Pleasant Valley, also enjoyed a great day on the blue track at Drake University. The Spartans 4 x 400 team just edged out Assumption by 6-hundreths of a second to claim first. Kaley Ciluffo finished second in the 1500. Carly Donohue took second in the 400-Hurdles.
