A fire broke out in a Rock Island garage, which is now likely a total loss.
A spokesperson from the Rock Island Fire Department said around 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014 crews were called to a garage fire on 43rd Street. The fire only took about 10 minutes to get under control and crews stayed on scene for about 15-20 minutes afterward.
There is no estimate on exactly how much damage was done and the cause is under investigation.
