A Sterling man was injured when his home was broken into. Police are now searching for two people believed to be responsible.
A spokesperson from the Sterling Police Department said that on Sunday, April 20 around 5:45 a.m. two people broke into a home in the 800 block of Avenue D.
Police said one of the people responsible was 36-year-old Myron D. Cureton and another was unidentified, but described as a thin black male no taller than 5-feet 11 inches.
Cureton reportedly displayed a firearm, made a demand, and caused minor injuries to the homeowner as the homeowner tried to escape, said Sterling Police.
According to Sterling Police, Cureton and his accomplice were seen leaving the home headed westbound on West 8th Street in a gray minivan.
On Monday, April 21 police got a $100,000 arrest warrant for Cureton for home invasion.
