After basking in one of the warmest Easters in a while comes a cycle of rain and a slight cool down in temperatures during this week. This transition begins with the passage of a cold front today, which will be accompanied by showers and a few thunderstorms. Even with the raindrops arriving, temperatures will reach the lower 70s. The departure of the front this evening will lead to skies clearing and the mercury falling into the 40s overnight.
Temperatures become more seasonal on Tuesday and Wednesday with mid 60s for daytime highs. Scattered showers and thunderstorms arrive Wednesday night and continue into Thursday before we dry out on Friday. That brings a much cooler weekend with not only 50s for daytime highs but another round of rainfall possibly arriving by Monday.
