A week after he suddenly died, the WWE published a touching video tribute to The Ultimate Warrior, James Hellwig.
Hellwig died days after he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He had appeared on the weekly WWE “Raw” show Monday, April 7. The next evening, he collapsed outside a hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona.
A preliminary autopsy report from the Maricopa County medical examiner said Hellwig – who legally changed his name to Ultimate Warrior – died of cardiovascular disease and of natural causes.
The Ultimate Warrior was 54.
A week after his death, the WWE posted a video tribute to him on their YouTube channel.
