“Well, this is weird.”
That’s the first thing Simon Cowell said when he saw 79-year-old Paddy and her partner, Nico, take the stage to compete in ‘Britain’s Got Talent.’
Simon yawns, and he’s pretty quick to hit the buzzer on Paddy and Nico.
Paddy returns the favor with a little stink eye in Simon’s direction, then she shows Simon the importance of a little patience by knocking everyone’s socks off with a fantastic salsa.
Simon wasn’t yawning any more.
“I apologize for what I did, because I did obviously buzzed a little early,” Simon said. “It was all kind of slow and normal, and then it went ballistic. It was extraordinary.”
