An organization that works with community-oriented activities has ranked an Iowa amusement park in the top 10 in the country.
Adventureland in Altoona, Iowa, northwest of Des Moines, was ranked number four in a survey of the top amusement parks in America.
According to Adventureland’s website, the park has over 100 rides, shows, and attractions. It has been running for more than 30 years.
Coming in June of 2014 is a new ride called the Storm Chaser. The attraction is a 250 foot tall swing ride that is said to “thrill even the most adventurous rider.”
The top amusement park in the country was Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
