Yesterday’s fierce winds didn’t steer me away from my visit to Kewanee, Illinois and Wethersfield School. Wow! I was thrilled to return after a couple of years from my last visit.
I had the honor to chat with over one hundred 1st and 2nd Graders, and did they have some awesome questions. The funniest question of the day was ‘what do you, Jim and Julie do during commercial breaks on Good Morning Quad Cities?’ Hmmm. I basically said, ‘ I wish we could show our viewers how entertaining we are as a team. OMG!! Plenty of laughs and giggles do get us through the morning.’ We do have our serious moments, too when late-breaking news is brought to our attention.
