The Rock Island man wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing at a Davenport gentlemen’s club was arrested.

According to Don Schaeffer, Assistant Chief of Davenport Police, 27-year-old Tremaine Juwan Gabriel was taken into custody on Sunday, March 30, 2014 shortly before 6 a.m. Gabriel was located in a vehicle at Locust and Bridge and was arrested “without incident.”

Schaeffer said Gabriel was wanted for murder in the first degree and for willful injury – causing serious injuries.

Previous reports indicate that on Saturday, March 22, Christian Wood, 22, of Davenport died after he was stabbed outside of Chorus Line on Brady Street.

Gabriel was held in the Scott County Jail without bond, Schaeffer said.
