In Moline, yard waste collection was set to run from Monday, March 31 – December 12. Bags of yard waste must be set 3 feet away from solid waste and recycle carts. Brush trimmings and tree limbs will also be collected for free. All collection will be done on the same day as your regular garbage collection day.

A spokesperson from the City of Moline said that bagged lawn waste needs to be in biodegradable paper bags that are 30-gallon capacity or less. A City yard waste sticker also needs to be attached.

You can purchase stickers for $2 at most hardware and grocery stores in Moline as well as at the Finance Office at 1630 8th Avenue.

Any piles that are unbundled or larger than the allotted size will require a $140 prepayment at the Moline Finance Office. For more information on brush and tree limb requirements – click here.
