Today was gorgeous wasn’t it? I think I’ve seen more people outside taking advantage of the weather more than I have all year… and for good reason. Temperatures climbed into the 60s today. That’s not going to be common this week.

We’ve got one more day to enjoy these milder temperatures. With a low developing to our west helping to enforce gusty south winds into the area, our daytime highs will easily climb into the 60s again on Monday. We may have to dodge a few showers though.

I do think most of Monday will be dry with intervals of sunshine. We will however have a chance of a few showers and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. The main line of showers and isolated thunderstorms will come through Monday night. These storms do not look very organized, severe, or even have much moisture available to them. It’s just a good idea to keep an umbrella handy anyway. This cold front will bring in cooler temperature for the rest of the week. Highs will generally stay in the upper 40s all the way through next weekend.

Headed to the River Bandits game on Thursday? I’m hoping to go myself. It looks pretty cool as of now though with partly to mostly cloudy skies. I’m keeping the chance of rain out for that day but we will have to wait and see as we get closer to the event. Cross your fingers!
