After losing her father, uncle, and cousin, a teenager has found therapy and comfort in tae kwon do.

Six years ago, 16-year-old Kailey Hamdorf lost close family members. She said it was tough, and through struggles, she’s found a way to keep moving forward.

“No matter what, you’ll always have somebody caring about you,” Kailey said. “You should always just keep your head up and make sure you have people around you.”
She said through tae kwon do she has found a positive group to surround herself with.

“You don’t need crazies in your life and bullies,” she said. “Just make sure you have people that love you. I have everybody here at tae kwon do… they’ve like helped me so much through everything. And I have a lot of good friends that help me.”
