Two people suffered non-life threatening stab wounds at the Volkan Night Club in Davenport.

Assistant Chief of Police Donald Shaeffer said around 1:15 a.m. Saturday March 22, 2014 officers had received a report of a “disturbance and possibly gunshots” at the night club on West 2nd Street.

Shaeffer said officers found a male in the parking lot who had suffered serious injuries from a knife. He was treated at the scene and taken to an area hospital.

Police said they later learned that another stab victim, who had been injured at the same location earlier, was also being treated an area hospital.

Shaeffer said these stabbings were not connected to the stab victim found in the Chorus Line parking lot around 4 a.m. the same evening.

Shaeffer said both victims from the Volkan Night Club location were being held at the hospital for observation.
